Tips for Eyes:

  • If you’re always in a rush, consider keeping your eyebrows and lashes tinted to your desired colour, and invest in lash extensions so that you don’t need to apply mascara. They look incredibly natural and can last up to a few weeks – waterproof mascara also helps.
  • Stick to long lasting crème eye shadows – once applied they can last all day.
  • When your mascara runs, put a hint of foundation on the end of a small brush (worst case, use a cotton bud) and use it like an eraser to remove the mascara.
  • A tip for dried out mascara – add some eye drops into the mascara tube to get a bit more life out of it.
  • If your curled lashes are starting to straighten out like fence posts, warm up a heated eyelash curler and redo. You can’t re-curl with a standard lash curler after you have applied mascara because the lash curler tends to get stuck.
  • If you are using a cotton bud to touch up around your eyes (I would recommend a brush), especially the inner rims, first wet it with eye drops. Do this any time you use a cotton bud to get dirt or dust out of your eyes. You’ll not only soothe your eyes but you’ll also reduce the risk of leaving behind any fibres. Worst case, if you don’t have any eye drops and it’s for your own eyes, lick the cotton bud to moisten the fibres.
