Two of the things I’m loving at the moment are the bootie, and the bangle. If you’re tired of pulling out your tried-and-true pump, then look to the bootie. A lot more on-point than a pump, a bootie balances out anything tight or short due to the extra coverage over the foot. Team a bootie with this season’s distressed denim, the boyfriend jean, leather anything, skirts and dresses. You’ll be able to take your bootie into summer as well, and wear it with anything bare-legged.
Another item that’s on my radar currently is the bangle. A fashion perennial, the bangle really elevates a simple outfit. Adding a bangle to a look gives the feeling of being “styled” even when it’s just taken a few seconds to pop it on. Steer away from anything boho or ethnic and focus on plain metallics, with minimalistic embellishment (if any.) Plain silver or gold in modern / minimalistic deigns are the perfect finishing touch this season.
