Trend How-To: It Was All Yellow

Pastel, lemon, mustard or acid bright: Yellow is definitely having a moment! Local and international designers alike have fallen for the happy, sunshine-y colour. Versace, Isabel Marant, Carven and Louis Vuitton all showcased yellow pieces on their Spring 2012 and Resort runways. A number of celebrities have also been embracing yellow clothing, including Whitney Port, Nicole Sherzinger, Elizabeth Olsen, Blake Lively and Nikki Reed.

Closer to home, yellow is the perfect antidote to the impending wintery weather. It can be worn head to toe, as seen at Chanel and Arabella Ramsay, or as a feature piece, try the CC Skye Portico bracelet or the Aldo McEnroe Bag for a pop of colour.
