Upkeep:
Whether it be hair or skin-related, we’re well aware that upkeep is absolutely vital. Luckily for you, the microblading upkeep is relatively effortless – no special care is required except for an after-care appointment (usually 4-8 weeks following your first appointment) and a brief touch-up once a year.
Betsy Shuky, a microblading expert from Dr Scott Wells’ office in NY, does say that “picking, peeling and scratching of the area should be avoided.” So fight the temptation and keep those fingers away for about 30 days!
Okay so now that you’ve got the lowdown of what microblading is, you’re probably wondering if there’s any chance of things going severely wrong. Well you have absolutely no reason to worry, but our only tip is to research, research, research!
At the end of the day you want someone extremely qualified to be doing this. If you find a place that is offering a price that is too good to be true, it probably is. Inform yourself and ask around before you make a decision!

Steph from Brows by Stephanie in Manly is the place to go. Steph is an artist and a perfectionist. No way would I trust my brows with anyone else. I’m thrilled with my micro bladed brows. They look so natural.
I’ve been toying with this idea as I am always filling in my non-existent brows. My question is, will I regret it when thin brows return?
I just had it done last week and it’s a life changer. Kim from lux brows and lashes in Melbourne is amazing, although I saw her in Sydney. She occasionally Travels to other cities to accommodate clients. I spent a lot of time researching and found that she was the one to see.
